The Author

I am on a journey of discovery. One that involves discovering the world around me and discovering myself. I have found that using a camera is making this process of discovery much more enjoyable. I trust you will enjoy it as well. My passion for all animals knows no bounds, but it is the parrot that has caught my heart! I am now involved in a campaign to help bring parrots in the wild back into their normal existence! The Indonesian Parrot Project is first on my list, and with a little help from our friends we will bring the Abotti Cockatoo back into a full, strong life in their natural habitat.

  1. Your images are absolutely stunning–some by the texture retained in the art; some in the expression in the eye of a
bird, even though it is deep in the socket;or a crane-like bird caight in flight; or what to others might come out as a banal waterfront scene
here elicits gasps. You obviously have a wonderful affinity with Nature, and your lens captures that beautifully. If this is “exploring photography”, please let us know when you’ve accomplished more exploration!

    • Stewart, your words are truly humbling, and have made my day, week, month and year! Yes I do love nature, and am continuing my exploration. Next stop hopefully will be Indonesia to capture our amazing Abotti! I am truly honored and stunned by your fantastic response to what is a new exploration for me.
